the first half of my january was spent in the summer in australia. the second half was back in my hometown of philadelphia where winter was very much in effect. on the days where i could brave the cold i shot outdoors but rain, snow and plummeting temps kept me inside most of the time. suffering from what could only be described as post vacation/seasonal effective disorder, i tried to brighten my mood with some special accessories...the luxurious ivory infinity scarf i received from my boyfriend for christmas, the black cross rosary necklace that i searched years to find after losing my favorite and very similar one, my signature fringe, loads of leather, some very bright blues and lots of sparkly things.
i'm in full recovery from post travel slump and am highly anticipating some sunnier and warmer days so i can show you all the amazing new spring pieces i acquired this winter. i'm counting down the days to open toed shoe season :)

you are so beautiful, its kind of ridiculous lol. I really like your causal chic look with the oversized winter scarfs and high low hems. I just recently discovered the joy of layering this winter. So i've been wearing multiple cardigans at once, light weight jackets on top of each other and just stuff like that and to my surprise, this keeps me warmer than wearing just one simple coat. By the way, the high bun is perfection.
